Fellowship and Hospitality Team
The Fellowship and Hospitality Ministry Team exists to encourage interacting with one another by planning special events, making the interior of our church pleasing, keeping the kitchen stocked, and finding meal and housing for guests, as Christ would have us to do.

Celebration Sunday
About 150 people attend our annual Celebration Sunday. Events include a vintage car show, a bouncy house, a softball game, a water balloon toss, a hula-hoop game, and a gunny sack race. Soft serve ice cream and freshly popped popcorn are nice treats on a hot afternoon. (Click on images to make larger) |
Christmas
Smorgasbord Our Christmas Smorgasbord is a church tradition that remains strong. Each December we celebrate our Swedish heritage with a smorgasbord including some traditional Swedish food like potato bologna, lutefisk, rye bread, tea rings,rice pudding, ostkaka, and lingonberries. |

Annual Congregational Meeting
We serve in the kitchen and assist John and Kevin Lantz who provide and make the pancakes. Larry and Betty Koos provide a large selection of pancake toppings

Christmas Baking Day
About 10 people attend our annual baking day held in early December. We spend a Saturday making a few Swedish foods including ostkaka, rye bread, and tea rings. Everyone is able to take something home. |
