Pastor Dan Fullerton came to our congregation in 2010. On October 30, 2018, he was tragically taken from us. He influenced our congregation in many ways, as well as touched us all personally. Dr. Daniel E. Fullerton was born in Swan River, MB, Canada where he grew up and graduated from the Swan River Collegiate Institute. He graduated in 1972 from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He is a 1976 graduate of North Park Theological Seminary (Chicago, IL) and attained his Master of Theology degree in Biblical Literature from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA in 1977. Dan completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, CA) in 1991.
His wife, Dawn, grew up in Lake Bronson, MN and graduated from the Lancaster High School. She graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN with her Bachelor's degree in Education and received her Masters of Arts in Christian Education from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education (Richmond, VA) in 1977. Together they are the proud parents of three children: Amy (born: 1980), Bethany (born: 1986), and Jamison (born: 1988).
Dan has actively served congregations for 39 years. He served Gateway Covenant Church in Prince Albert, SK from 1977 to 1987. He served Audubon Park Covenant Church in Orlando, Florida from 1987 to 1993 and served Fairmont Evangelical Covenant Church in Fairmont, MN from 1993 to 2009. He has served our congregation since 2010.
