Vacation Bible School 2007

Hang on to your life preserver!  The VBS crew at Evangelical Covenant Church had a great weekend VBS water park adventure.  They Took the Plunge and Made a Splash with Jesus!  We learned to plunge into the Word and learned how Jesus used the very common element of water to teach some very uncommon lessons.  As kids moved from one whirlwind activity to the next, they soaked up lessons that will last for a lifetime!

Kids got to Take the Plunge at Raise the Reef Praises, the Snack Shack, Craft-Away Cove, Oceans of Motion, and Bibleland Bay.  It was a weekend of fun and excitement and made a big splash with kids of all ages.  33 kids attended and had a wonderful time overnight.  The twisting and turning began at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 9th and ended with a closing program during our 10:15 a.m. worship service on Sunday, June 10th.  The kids sang and let us know how they learned to O-B-E-Y.  Many parents and grandparents attended the worship service.  Thanks to all who attended and helped!
